Mathura Trip

Project type

Mathura–Vrindavan trip

Date

(March 31, 2025)

Today was a day full of devotion, colors, and peace as I set out on a spiritual journey to Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana, Raman Reti and many other holy places connected with Lord Krishna.

My morning started in Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna. The narrow streets, the ringing temple bells, and the chants of “Radhe Radhe” gave me goosebumps. Visiting the Krishna Janmabhoomi temple filled me with a strange calmness, as if time stood still for a while.

From there, I moved to Barsana, the land of Radha Rani. The hills, temples, and people’s warm smiles made me feel the essence of divine love. Every corner of Barsana still echoes with the tales of Radha-Krishna’s playful pastimes.

Later, I headed to Vrindavan, where every temple, every step feels soaked in devotion. The Banke Bihari Temple was so lively, and standing there in the crowd, with everyone chanting in one voice, I truly felt part of something beyond myself.

In the evening, I visited Raman Reti, a peaceful spot where little Krishna is believed to have played in the sands. Sitting there quietly, watching the sun go down, I felt an innocent joy—like a child again.

This trip wasn’t just about visiting temples, but about experiencing devotion in its purest form. Each place carried its own story, its own energy, and left me with a heart full of peace and gratitude.
